The container arrived in Hamburg

After 23 days at sea the container with our cocoa finally arrived in Hamburg. The journey first took us from Puerto Santo Tomás de Castilla in Guatemala to Puerto Cortes / Honduras. Subsequently, the "Rio Thelon" steered further south, to then set up in Puerto Limón / Costa Rica. A day later the ship left Central America towards Kingston on the island of Jamaica. The crossing over the Atlantic Ocean lasted about 2 weeks, the first port in Europe where the "Rio Thelon" arrived, was London and then to Rotterdam / Netherlands on their way to Hamburg. In total the ship covered about 6,000 nautical miles in distance, which is equivalent to about 11,100 kilometers.
